 | Smackz.com is Expanding |
 Now, after regular users/visitors collect their collective breath (OMG - it's an UPDATE!!!) it's time for an announcement. Smackz.com, the absolute best website in the world*, is expanding to include airsoft info, news, and forums. OK, now most of you have lost your breath again...but I am here to tell you that paintballers and airsoft players can co-exist and even cross-over into the "other" sport every once in a while. What? You don't think it can happen? Well poo on you! Smackz.com is here to prove you wrong.
I've been away from the paintball side of things for quite some time but, contrary to what many people believe, I do still play a game or two. In the past few months I've also dabbled in airsoft and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. And that, my friends, has been the motivation to dust off the paswords, log into the site, and make a few changes.
The Forums now include a section for airsoft players to chat general airsoft stuff (Just Airsoft), buy and sell gear (Airsoft Classifieds), and to share useless information (All Outta BBs).
So, participate, engage, and enjoy! Or, if you feel so inclined, whine about how one game is better than the other or how markers are cooler than AEGs or why mil-sim is better training than speedball. Actually this type of discourse is encouraged because I could use a good laugh.

| TAS Summer Slam '08 in Full Swing |
 The Alternative Sport in Blountville, TN just held its second event of the 2008 Summer Slam series. Several local teams made the trip down, and made it a super competitive event. After the dust settled, the standings looked like this:
Open Division Beginner Division
1.) Blue Reign 1.) SRI
2.) CCCFD 2.) Throwdown
3.) ECN 3.) Wolfpack
Congratulations to the event winners! Remember, the Summer Slam is a series event, with teams accumulating points at each event, which will determine the overall series winner.
We'll see everyone at the next event, being held on Sept. 6 at TAS Blountville.

| Smackz.com UPDATE!!! |
 What's this? A Smackz.com update? WOW!!! Despite the contrary belief that Smackz.com is dead it is just now catching its second wind. It's been a while, but Smackz is back and ready to get down to business.

It looks like Right Attitude is planning to open up their field again this weekend. Also, TAS has put together a scenario game for February 3, 2007. Look in the Upcoming Events block to the right for links to information on these games.
